How do I determine which Flame Arrestor is right for my application?

Selection criteria is determined by the length of pipe, run up, number of bends in the pipe, gas type, temperature and operating pressure. Other factors include burn time and reflective back pressure.

What is PPS?

Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is a high performance, fiber reinforced, advanced composite, linear thermoplastic polymer. For over a decade, PPS has replaced conventional materials, like stainless steel, for industrial vapor recovery applications that require superior corrosion resistance, non-sticking and high temperature performance.

Does ENARDO make relief valves?

ENARDO offers low pressure drop relief valves up to 15 PSI (or one bar).

What is the difference between a flame arrestor and a detonation arrestor?

A detonation arrestor is capable of stopping a supersonic explosion. A flame arrestor is designed for low pressure deflagrations.
